Album Butterfly has two fulfilment categories: instant digital downloads (PSD templates, software) and physical products shipped by our partner sellers through ShipRocket. This policy covers both.
1. Digital Products (Instant Delivery)
- Complete Your Purchase — After payment is confirmed, you are redirected to a confirmation screen.
- Access My Orders — Sign in with the email you used at checkout to view your download links.
- Download & Use — Click the link to download the PSD/software file directly.
- Download links are always visible on the My Orders page in your dashboard.
- No shipping charges, no waiting period.
- Files are delivered as .ZIP (PSD bundles) or .EXE (software installers) depending on the product.
2. Physical Products (Marketplace Shipping)
Physical products on Album Butterfly are sold and shipped by verified partner sellers (photographers, studios, hobbyists). We partner with ShipRocket — India's leading e-commerce shipping platform — to handle every leg of the delivery: label printing, pickup scheduling, real-time tracking and delivery confirmation.
2.1 Serviceability
- Domestic Only: India-based products ship only to addresses within India.
- International Listings: If a partner lists a product based in a country other than India, it will only ship within that partner's own country. Cross-border international shipping is not currently supported.
- Serviceability depends on the destination PIN code — the checkout page shows the correct shipping rate in real time once you enter your address.
2.2 Estimated Delivery Time
- Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad): 3-6 business days
- Tier-2/3 cities & towns: 5-10 business days
- Remote / interior pin codes: 7-14 business days
- Made-to-order items add 2-5 business days of production time before dispatch.
- Delays may occur during peak seasons (Diwali, Christmas, wedding season), monsoon floods or national holidays.
2.3 Shipping Charges
- Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout based on the product's weight, dimensions and your destination PIN code, using ShipRocket's live rate card.
- Charges are displayed clearly on the cart page before you pay — there are never any hidden or post-delivery charges.
- Free shipping applies only when the partner explicitly marks a product as free-shipping in their listing.
2.4 Real-Time Order Tracking
- As soon as the partner generates the shipping label, an AWB (Air Waybill) number is created and you receive a confirmation email.
- Track your parcel any time from the My Orders page — every status change (picked up, in transit, out for delivery, delivered) is pushed to your order automatically.
- You can also track directly on ShipRocket's public tracking page using your AWB.
2.5 Address Accuracy & RTO (Return to Origin)
- You are responsible for entering a correct, complete shipping address and a reachable phone number at checkout.
- If the courier is unable to deliver due to incorrect address, closed house, unreachable phone, or refused delivery, the parcel will be returned to the partner (RTO).
- For RTO orders: the shipping cost is not refunded (courier charges both legs). The product value is credited only after the parcel is physically received and inspected by the partner.
- Repeated RTO cases from the same customer may result in future orders being cancelled or blocked.
2.6 Delivery Proof
- ShipRocket records a Proof of Delivery (POD) — signature, photo or OTP — based on the courier partner.
- If a parcel is marked delivered but you have not actually received it, please raise a Not Delivered dispute from My Orders within 7 days. Our team will investigate with the courier.
3. Order Cancellation (Physical)
- You may cancel a physical order for a full refund any time before the partner generates the shipping label.
- Once the label is printed and pickup is booked, the order can no longer be cancelled; you must wait for delivery and then raise a return/dispute if needed.
- Partners may cancel an order if stock is unavailable or the address is un-serviceable — in such cases a full refund is auto-initiated.
4. Damaged / Missing Parcels
- If your parcel arrives damaged, do not accept it from the courier if possible and take photos.
- If accepted, open it on-camera and raise a Damaged dispute from My Orders within 7 days of delivery with photo evidence.
- For missing items or wrong item shipped, raise a Missing Parts or Wrong Item dispute within 7 days.

5. Download Issues (Digital)
- Download interrupted / incomplete: Try a different browser or turn off VPN & ad-blockers.
- Slow speeds: Usually an ISP bottleneck — try at a different time of day.
- Cannot extract ZIP: Use 7-Zip or WinRAR; Windows' built-in extractor sometimes fails on large files.
- If the link is broken or the file is corrupt, email us and we will re-issue it within 24 hours.
